this is the result of Sunday's work...we pulled out the carpet in the living room and the hall...lots of work but lots of luck the floors look good. what a way to start a vacation! The next step is back to the kitchen to finish the cabinets, wife is home so we are both working on it!

ahh my first day of vacation...I celebrated by finding my first full bloomed iris in the yard.
I am happy to be away from work...not the kids I miss them but the adults, they drive me crazy. I won't rant about them I refuse to give them that much control over my vacation. I am here now to rest not to rant.

hi, I just looked at yesterdays blog and realized it had posted like 5 times, I kept pushing the publish button checking seeing nothing then pushing again...I need to practice patience!

Hey my yard again reflects my life. it is mowed and dry...my testing is done, most of my report cards are done and I am ready for vacation. The plants still need trimming and tidied up a bit...so does my life but it is much better than last week the boys all walk in a line when checking out the yard...maybe I need to walk the line a little more

this is the view of my backyard and it reflects the way life has been lately
We are flooding here in the valley...I feel flooded with papers and stuff at work
The grass needs cutting, no sun to dry it out so it cuts easily...I need to tell 2 parents I need to retain their boys because they will not pass kindergarten
The grass is green and the garden is ready to bloom...my kids are learning and ready to go to first grade
I love and hate it all at the same time. Evry year it is hard for me to let the munchkins go to a new teacher...but it is coming close to time for transplanting

How can you not love this kid? As you can tell he is full of mischief and mayhem. He is the one that drives me the craziest and yet the one who tugs my heart the most. I try not to stop his spirit but I have to get him ready for the real world of 1st grade. Maybe I will just keep him one more year...let him have some more fun before reality sets in
ya know I didn't realize that he would go in sideways. I was going to change it but it does fit his personality...he dances to the beat of his own drummer!

Happy almost easter...my poor puppies I am always making them suffer the indiginites of my photos...Berkley is not very tolerant, hence the hands flying away from him. Later I will post some of my students in the same glasses...they wanted to have their picture taken. The puppy doesn't have his ears on wouldn't hold still
